Guiding women from hardship to stability, purpose, and independence.
Passages Women's Transitional Living is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. We are a faith-based ministry, not affiliated with any church or denomination, focused on providing reentry services to women making the transition from incarceration, homelessness, and treatment centers.
Passages is modeled after the highly successful Chrysalis Women's Transitional Living, Inc., founded in Boise, Idaho by Marsha Tennyson in 2001. Passages, like Chrysalis, helps women take the necessary steps which take them away from their former destructive lifestyles and toward independence.
The project started to take shape in 2008, and by 2013 the first resident woman moved in and Passages Women’s Transitional Living was born.
The Transformation Program
The Transformation Program is in place to help a woman put the pieces of her life back together. This is accomplished by replacing the lies in her life with the truth that she is valued.
By teaching her positive life skills, she learns to cultivate a relationship with God and with the people in her life.
The Program consists of specific activities with goals to be accomplished in the following areas:
